Contemplation: Prohibition
Hello world. The following was written 3/20/2018.
Contemplation: Prohibitionism is a legal philosophy and political theory often used in lobbying which holds that citizens will abstain from actions if the actions are typed as unlawful (i.e. prohibited) and the prohibitions are enforced by law enforcement.[1] This philosophy has been the basis for many acts of statutory law throughout history, most notably when a large group of a given population disapproves of and/or feels threatened by an activity in which a smaller group of that population engages, and seeks to render that activity legally prohibited.
I have been hearing the words prohibit, prohibition, and prohibitionism playing through my mind. As I look up these words and their meanings understandings are being given to me. Understandings of how we have been manipulated to hand away our Free Will to choose for ourselves what resonates as Truth for us through acts of prohibition using propaganda, violence, and FEAR.
As I am looking at these words and asking questions, the answers I am given astound me. These words describe a belief being held. A belief one has a right to control someone else. They have a right to dictate what someone may or may not think, say, do, and believe in at any given moment. How did they begin this means of control?
