Something to consider, the actors on the stage have changed, yet the play remains the same. In the beginning, those assuming a mantle of authority, understood the power of suggestion. They understood how to manipulate what is perceived, seen so believed. All religions hold Truth within them. It is where man steps in, twisting what is in to what it is not. They understood how to manipulate their brothers to submit, so subjugate themselves to the dictates of another willingly without questioning. They understood how assuming a mantle of authority and power, stopped the masses from questioning their commands. It is the lack of questioning which has transformed the garden before you, into the nightmare which is perceived.

In the beginning a House was created. This House was created in the Light and was based in Truth and Wisdom passed down from the Elders and Masters to their Acolytes, by word of mouth. Each one passing down knowledge and understanding to those with an ear to hear, eyes to see and a mind to discern the patterns within patterns, laid before them, the secrets of their sect.

When the House became split during the Spanish Inquisition, the Darkness took over. A time when many were forced to denounce their Faiths, practicing their chosen religions in secret to stay alive, such as Nostradamus had to do.
