What is meant by going “WITHIN”.

Hello world. The following was written 3/12/2019.

A brother responded to my article titled, “Spirit states, “I am awaiting within.”” with a question asking for clarity and understanding as to what is meant by going within. The following is my brothers question and my response to him.

My brother asks, “Within where? I’ve heard look within and variations of it for years and I don’t know if its just me but I’m not grasping what its suppose to mean or is referencing… If all is an illusion and we are not humans having a spiritual journey but rather spirits having a human journey then how can you know for certain what you perceive to be the true you is indeed you and not just an imagining of the mind… How do you know for certain that we are more than the electrical signals of the brain… I’ve been into spirituality for more than a decade and have read plenty of books watched many videos touched base with nearly every conspiracy theory that exists… And I’ve tried meditation… And it seems nothing is different than it has always been… I’m still me I’m still here and no one has definitive infallible proof of being something more than human… Idk I’m at a point where I’m about to just give up go back to Christianity and sheep it through life…”

My response, “Hello brother. What is referred to as “WITHIN” would be within your own heart and mind. What it entails is turning inward and choosing to look at what we are thinking in any given moment and questioning what it is we are thinking, where that thought came from…
