Why?
Have you ever wondered why?
The sky is blue, children cry.
When the bells begin to ring,
Heavenly angels get their wings.
Like the ticking of a clock,
We hesitate at the knock.
When it comes after one,
You pray to God and his Son.
Hoping some kids are having fun,
It’s not the death of someone.
Have you ever wondered why?
It’s so hard to say goodbye.
Why people try to hit that key,
That they know they cannot sing.
When you want to sit and think,
Time goes by in a blink.
